BEAR CREEK TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Ike's fury is making drivers in our area furious. Gas prices are rising once again.
A gallon of regular at one station in Bear Creek sits at $3.69. That's up 20 cents since Friday.
The hurricane has forced drilling rigs and oil refineries along the gulf coast to shut down. But motorists don't accept that excuse. Dave Shearer of Thornhurst said, “The gas they have in the tanks they didn't pay for today so if the price went up today, they're gouging everyone as they go by."
AAA says on average the price of gas rose another three cents in our area from Saturday to Sunday.
