SWIFTWATER, MONROE COUNTY -- There's some good news for a Monroe County pastor. He learned this weekend that his family in Haiti is okay.

Eyewitness News first introduced you, Wednesday, to Jean-Pierre Serge. He leads a Haitian church in Swiftwater.

He grew up in Petionville --a town leveled by the earthquake. That's where his father, brothers and sisters still live.

He got a call from his father saying they're all alive and doing as well as can be expected.
