WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- Nearly $2,000 was collected Monday by the local American Red Cross for victims of the Haitian disaster.
Shoppers dropped by a table set up in the center court of the Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre Township.
Cards were also available for people to write messages to the people of Haiti.
A local man is heading the Red Cross disaster efforts in that country. | | |
