WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County store is back open, months after flames gutted the place.

A Thanksgiving Day fire destroyed the Country Junction and Ashley Furniture stores in Wilkes-Barre Township.

The owners spent the last four months rebuilding, despite the poor economy. They reopened last week and say it's great to finally be back in business. Country Junction co-owner Darrin Gallagher said, "It feels great. We're so excited to have the doors back open, have the customers come back in. All the employees are thrilled, we couldn't be happier at the moment."

So far, 15 employees are back to work. That's half of last year's workforce. Gallagher hopes to have most of the others back to work by summer.
