WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- The federal corruption probe in Luzerne County has made its way to social networking sites. Last weekend, a Facebook page was created supporting Pat Patte Jr., a popular bar owner facing illegal gambling and conspiracy charges.

Disgraced judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan are also featured on a page titled "Corruption in the County of Luzerne. " with plenty of followers. People like Bruce Krell thinks pages like this are fair game. Krell said, "At the end of the day when you look at it, that's the way it used to be. People used to speak through the newspaper, the television and now they're on the internet."

"Ashamed to live in Luzerne County " is another Facebook page's title. The pages creator slings mud at judges, teachers and politicians under the federal microscope.
