A Hazleton man is locked up tonight facing charges of beating his girlfriend's son.
Police say the 20-year-old spanked and hit his girlfriends two-year-old son Emanuel Gonzales so hard it caused bruising all over the boy's body.
According to court papers Garcia beat the boy several times this week because he urinated on the floor and defecated on a blanket.
The two year old baby died early this morning but, police are waiting for an autopsy Monday before filing murder charges.
Garcia is locked-up tonight on two million dollars bail in Luzerne County.
