MONROE COUNTY- A Monroe County man, accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a state senator, last fall is now in jail.

Senator James Rhoades died in that October crash along Route 209 in Monroe County. Police say Thomas Senavitis caused that crash. He had been out on bail.

But prosecutors asked a judge to revoke that bail because he allegedly showed up drunk to court for an unrelated hearing involving his wife.

Witnesses claimed Senavitis didn't appear drunk at the Carbon County Courthouse, but a probation officer said he was legally drunk.
