WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Kunkletown man is behind bars on charges of rape and concealing the death of child. Police arrested 30-year-old Michael Lisk.
State police in Lehighton said they were contacted by Lehigh Valley Medical Center after a 13-year-old girl told the staff she conducted a home abortion on herself using a pencil. It was later learned she delivered the baby at her home.
According to police, Lisk took the baby and buried it in a wooded area along Middle Creek Road in Polk Township. Lisk told police he believes he's the father of the baby. State police have recovered the body. | | |
