WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- The trial for a Luzerne County man accused of raping and getting a mentally-handicapped woman pregnant is underway this morning.

Opening arguments began in the case against Peter Flanagan. HeÕs accused of raping and a mentally challenged woman.

Prosecutors say DNA testing linked him to the crime after the victim gave birth to a still born baby in April.

Flanagan denies the charges.
