SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY Ð Robert Kulick was sentenced in federal court on a downgraded fire arms charge. He received 37 months, though in court, his defense team seemed to have been holding out hope for a more significant break.
You may remember Kulick and the role he played in apparently exposing Judge Conahan's alleged case fixing.
Kulick testified on behalf of The CitizensÕ Voice, claiming that the case of Thomas Joseph against the Wilkes-Barre newspaper was transferred to Ciavarella in hopes of a favorable outcome.
Ciavarella awarded Joseph a more than 3-million dollar verdict.
Kulick reports to prison in October. | |
