KULPMONT, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY- State Police are investigating a home invasion and attempted rape in Northumberland County.

Troopers say Kendall Kehler, 29, broke into a woman's room and tried to rape her last week.

Kehler is accused of assaulting a man in the room and breaking his ell phone when the man tried to call police.

The man then jumped out of a window to escape.

Police say Kehler then tried to rape the woman.

He's behind bars on $100-thousand bail.
