Police in the Poconos say they have the man responsible for Friday's purse snatching incidents at businesses along Route 611.

30-year-old Michael Rettenmeyer of East Stroudsburg is charged with trying to take a woman's purse outside Kohl's department store at the Crossroads Plaza.

He's also charged with stealing a handbag from a woman at a table outside Panera Bread at the Shoppes at Stroud.

Rettenmeyer is locked up in Monroe County Prison. Police are looking for an accomplice.
