CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Retaliation. That's why a Carbondale man says he set a house on fire over the weekend.
Police arrested Christopher Engroff on arson charges Wednesday afternoon. Investigators say he set fire to a home on Seventh Avenue Sunday night. One firefighter was hurt putting out the flames.
Engroff told investigators he set it because the previous tenants stiffed him on a $600 drug deal. Engroff is now locked up on $150,000 bail. | | |
