MONROE COUNTY - Police need some help to catch the person behind a brutal attack in Monroe County.

Police say a 33-year-old East Stroudsburg man was assaulted and robbed at the Wachovia Bank ATM located on N. Fourth St. in Stroudsburg late Sat. night.

Officers found the man with a severe head wound,

He was flown to Lehigh Valley Trauma Center where he remains in serious condition.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the stroud-area police department or 9-1-1.
