PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY- A man is in custody charging with robbing a woman outside an ATM.
Investigators say Bernard Wengen wrestled money from a woman in Plymouth outside the Turkey Hill on Main Street. Police responded to the scene just before 6:00 Monday evening.
A witness chased after the robber. Antonio Giannelli said, “I heard the woman at the ATM screaming for help. I saw her being choked. As the guy ran away, I chased him but he got away."
Surveillance video helped police identify Wengen. They arrested him a few hours later at a main street apartment.
