MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Luzerne County man has been arrested for damaging the 2008 Governor’s Cup earned by the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

40-year-old Michael Cortezar of Peckville is charged with making terrorist threats. WBRE was the only station at PNC Field in Moosic when the 2008 Governor’s Cup was carried out in pieces late Thursday night.

Sheriff’s deputies tell us that Cortazar threw the cup to the ground. They say he was angry there was no food inside a sports box at the stadium.
