DAMASCUS TWP., WAYNE COUNTY- A 28-year-old man is dead after drowning in the Delaware River Sunday morning in Wayne County.
State police say it happened near the Soaring Eagle Campground in Damascus Township.
Troopers say the man was swimming with friends when he started having trouble with the current in the river.
The 28-year-old went under the water. His body was found about 40 feet from the shore.
The name of the victim has not yet been released in Wayne County. | | |
