TEXAS TWP., WAYNE COUNTY -- State police are investigating the death of a Wayne County man who didn't make it out of his burning home.
The fire happened Saturday afternoon around 4:30 in Texas Township along Canal Street. 40-year-old Tim Wood was found dead in an upstairs bedroom.
Another person in the home managed to escape. Susan Bates was taken to Scranton CMC for treatment of burns and smoke inhalation.
So far theres no word on the cause of the fire.
