Man Found Guilty in Glass Bar Shooting

Man Found Guilty in Glass Bar Shooting - Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 6:10PM EST

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Guilty of third degree murder - that's the verdict in a deadly Luzerne County bar shooting.
It took jurors more than 5 hours to reach their verdict in the trial of Jabbar Wallace Wednesday. The 33-year-old was convicted in connection with the death of Eric Cusaac more than 15 months ago.

Cusaac was shot twice inside a bathroom at the former Glass Bar in Edwardsville. Cusaac’s mother Joyce spoke to Eyewitness News. “My son did not deserve to die. His 4-year-old daughter wakes up every night, asking where's my daddy? When's my daddy gonna wake up," she said.

Wallace faces between 20 and 40 years in prison when he's sentenced in May. His lawyers are considering an appeal, saying Wallace acted in self defense.
