SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A man was killed in a bicycle accident in Scranton this afternoon.

It happened at the corner or Wyoming and Lackawanna Avenues about 4:30 this afternoon. The man on the bike was hit by a 15 passenger van.

He was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

Lackawanna Avenue near the Steamtown Mall entrance was closed for a time. The investigation continues.
