WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A man is recovering after an overnight stabbing in Wilkes-Barre.

It happened just after 2:00 A. M. near Hazle Street and Park Avenue. Police tell us several people approached 25-year-old Thomas Segeda.

They asked for a cigarette and then jumped him. Segeda ended up stabbed in the stomach. He was treated and released.
