WASHINGTON TWP., SNYDER COUNTY -- An early morning accident in Snyder County has left one man dead.
28-year-old Joshua Gerber of McAllisterville was killed along Route 35 just after 4:00 Tuesday morning. It happened in Washington Township, a mile south of Freeburg.
Police say Gerber crossed into the opposite lane and hit another car head on. Gerber died at the scene.
The other driver, Brian Wileman of Port Royal, was taken to the
hospital. There's no word on his condition. | | |
