SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A 46-year-old Scranton man has entered a guilty plea to charges stemming from the sexual abuse of a child. John J. Rodney Sr. plead guilty to charges of Involuntary Sexual Intercourse with a child and Corruption of a Minor. He appeared in Lackawanna County Court on Friday. The District Attorney's Office has asked the Court to label Rodney as a Sexually Violent Predator under 'Megan's Law.' He will be sentenced at a later date.
