WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County man is headed to state prison for sexually assaulting an elderly Alzheimer's patient.

David Gula of Exeter will spend 5 ½ to 12-years behind bars. The assault on the 90-year-old woman happened in February 2007 at Kingston Commons.

The judge gave Gula the maximum sentence because he refused to take responsibility for the crime.
