WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Hunlock Creek man was sentenced to prison today in connection with a fatal Wilkes-Barre crash that happened back in April.
30-year-old John Day's car went off of Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and slammed into a tree. 26-year-old Amber Seeman was a passenger in his car and died at the scene.
We spoke with Amber’s parents Jill and Katherine Seeman this morning. “He's going to get out. He's gonna have his son to go back to. We don't have our daughter and my granddaughter isn't going to have a mother and he's going to raise his son," they said.
Judge Peter Paul Olszewski sentenced Day, who was drunk at the time, to 4 to 8 years in prison.
