WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A Hanover Township man was sentenced Monday for robbing six area banks.
29-year-old Adam Verdekal was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Verdekal pleaded guilty to holding up 6 banks in January and February of this year.
He hit the Honesdale National Bank in Kingston three times. Verdekal said he did it to get money for his heroin addiction. | | |
