SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A Fell Township man will spend more than four years in prison after being sentenced in Lackawanna County.

John Dito allowed a 39-year-old man to have sex with an underage girl in exchange for drugs and cash. Dito was found guilty after a trial last year.

A judge sentenced him on corruption of minors and child endangerment charges this morning.

Assisant District Attorney Mariclare Hayes said, ÒWe were pleased with the sentence. The judge decided to run the sentence for the two charges consecutive, meaning he serves time on one and then begins the other. He had the choice to run them concurrently."

In all Dito was sentenced to between 52 and 106 months in state prison.
