HUNTINGTON TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- An early morning shooting in Luzerne County's Shickshinny area sent one man to the hospital.

It happened on Pine Crest Road in Huntington Township around 4:00 A. M. A 29-year-old Shickshinny man was shot in the stomach.

There's no word on the identities of the victim or the shooter -- or if authorities have named a suspect.

The shooting victim is listed in fair condition at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
