0/ 5 rating HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A Luzerne County man is in prison after a slashing in Hanover Township.

29-year-old Eric Butka of Shickshinny is accused of the attack in Hanover Village around 1:30 Sunday morning.

Police say Butka cut Nigel Rosado's neck with a knife during an argument then drove off towards Division Street. Officers stopped the car on Hazle Street and arrested Butka.

He faces several charges including simple assault. Rosado was treated and released.
