SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Scranton man is behind bars facing attempted murder charges.

Investigators say William Krause tried to kill his estranged wife on Thursday afternoon. The incident happened inside a home on Gordon Place.

Cops say Krause lured his estranged wife into a bedroom where he pulled out a gun and tried to shoot her. The gun did not go off.

Krause was caught in the act by his son in Lackawanna County.
