SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A man who pulled a gun on a sheriff's deputy inside the Lackawanna County Courthouse is facing some serious jail time.
A judge sentenced 52-year-old Eugene Zawisky to spend 28 to 60 years in prison. Zawisky was being processed on suspicion of DUI charges in 2008 when he pulled a 3-57 handgun on a deputy in the courthouse.
Police say he had the gun hidden in his pants.
