Man Who Showed Up to Court Drunk Sentenced - Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:57AM EST
WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Tunkhannock man was sentenced to up to 5 years in state prison for killing a man while driving drunk.
24-year-old James A. Faux pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide while driving under the influence. Faux drove his vehicle off a roadway into a tree off Main Street in Dallas in January of 2008.
43-year-old Thomas Sands of Centermoreland was also in the car. He was in a coma for months and eventually died as a result of his injuries.
You may remember Faux is the man who showed up to court drunk back in March. He was scheduled to plead guilty but instead a judge sent him right to jail for violating his parole. He plead guilty the following week in his next court appearance. | |
