SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- The man who allegedly smashed the Governor's Cup at PNC Field will face further court action.

Michael Cortezar of Peckville waived his preliminary hearing today. The Governor's Cup was later returned to the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Yankees organization.

Officials expect the price tag to repair the trophy to be more than $3,500.
