PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- A Luzerne County man wearing a clown mask spent this Halloween in prison after a high speed chase.

The trouble for 24-year-old Jordan Caraballo of Mountaintop started around 2:00 Saturday morning in Plains Township.

That's when emergency responders were investigating a hit and run that injured a security guard.

Police say Caraballo blew his horn while driving around a plains township fire truck and nearly struck a firefighter.

Police pursued and the chase ended near Friendly's restaurant on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre.

Charges against Caraballo include DUI and fleeing police.
