Masked Man Robs Pocono Service Station - Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 5:25PM EST

SAYLORSBURG, MONROE COUNTY - A man wearing a Halloween mask ran into a gas station and shoved a hand gun into a workers ribs.

Police say it happened at Borger's Service Station on old Route 115 in Ross Township. It was about 12:15 Wednesday. The criminal was a white man between 5'9" and 5'11" tall. He had a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Warren Keiper was working when it happened. He said, "He just stuck the gun in my ribs here and said 'give me the money out of the drawer.' So I got the money out and he followed me around."

Keiper was not hurt. The robber got away with about $1,000. He drove off in an older gray Buick or Pontiac sedan.
