JENKINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- A water main break in Luzerne County may be to blame for a large hole in a yard.

A 45-foot hole opened overnight in the front yard of the O'Brien home on Laflin Road in the Inkerman section of Jenkins Township.

Pennsylvania American Water Company blames the hole on an 8-inch water main that snapped in nearby Pittston.

A utility crew is on the scene in Luzerne County trying to fix it.
