Williamsport, Lycoming County-
Fifteen years later, a South Williamsport woman is still searching for answers in the killings of her daughter and granddaughter.
Gail Matthews and Tamara Berkheiser were brutally murdered in their Williamsport home on September 2nd, 1994.
To this day, no one has been charged for the crime.
A vigil is being held at 8pm Wednesday night in Williamsport’s Brandon Park.
Lois Matthews explained, "I'm hoping that somebody knows something and they come forward. Because somebody out there does know, and I don't know how they can keep it to their self. I really don't."
The Lycoming County district attorney says the case is still open and being actively investigated. | | |
