HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY - Police are investigating gunfire, a stabbing and other violence at a bar that left several injured.

The trouble happened in Hazleton at La Cantina on Wyoming Street.

Police say a man with a gun began firing into a crowd around 2:30 this morning.

Some customers also pulled guns and started shooting.

Meanwhile, several men with guns used their weapons to strike some other men outside the bar.

One man was also stabbed and another was struck by a car leaving the scene.

One of the men police took into custody is Bernardo Campusano-Abreu.

He was deported in 2006 from Hazleton to the Dominican Republic on a felony drug charge.

Authorities say because he re-entered the U. S., he'll serve at least 5-years in federal prison before he's re-deported.
