WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- We have an update now on the federal corruption probe in Luzerne County. The I-Team has confirmed that a staff member of a Luzerne County judge testified Tuesday before a federal grand jury in Scranton.

Tom Marino, the tipstaff for Judge Michael Toole, testified behind closed doors for about two hours. Details of his testimony are kept secret, unless an indictment is handed down.

As the I-Team has been reporting, Judge Toole's name has come up in this ongoing investigation. But he has not been accused of any wrong doing.

So far, nine public officials have been named in the corruption probe, including two former judges, Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan.
