WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Friends and family gathered to remember three people who died in a fire.
The Wilkes-Barre fire killed 5-year-old Angel Torres, 3-year-old Alia van Pelt and 26-year-old Victor van Pelt. That fire happened one year ago this weekend.

The fire victims’ loved ones held a candlelight vigil at Kirby Park Saturday evening. They prayed together, shared favorite memories and wrote notes to the victims. Angel's mother asked us to share her message with parents. "If you have a child please cherish them and love them everyday because you never know when they will be gone," she said.
