CLARKS GREEN, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Family and friends remembered a former Lackawanna County woman murdered in New York.
The line of mourners stretched outside the church of St. Gregory's in Clarks Green this afternoon. That's where a memorial mass was held for 28-year-old Caroline Coffey.
She was found slashed outside her Ithaca apartment last week. Her husband of one month is charged with her murder.
Coffey graduated from Scranton Prep, the University of Scranton and Cornell University. She was doing post doctoral work there in stem cell research. | | |
