SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Robert K. Mericle pled guilty today to a federal corruption charge in connection to the kids-for-cash scandal in Luzerne County.

Mericle was the developer for the juvenile detention center in question. He pled guilty on one count of failure to report a felony.
