Missing Man's Body Found
Missing Man's Body Found - Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11:27PM EST
JENKINS TOWNSHIP -- Police found human remains here off Suscan Road at 1:12pm Thursday afternoon. Just after 6:30pm, the district attorney contacted Eyewitness News, saying the body was identified as Donnie Skiff. Dental records were used.
State police and D. A. Jackie Musto Carroll say they were led to the area through an ongoing investigation and would not comment on how Skiff could have died, pending a 10:00am autopsy on Friday.
The 34-year-old man from Plymouth was last seen on Monday, April 27th, when he supposedly went fishing with some friends in Shickshinny. Skiff was never heard from again. Friends had a growing concern for Skiff when his burned-out pick-up truck was found in an area off Route 11 known as Plymouth Flats on April 29th.
Skiff is known for his drumming skills as part of the band, "Wicked Sins." They recently completed recording an album. | | |
