Williamsport, Lycoming County-

A State College man faces attempted homicide and arson charges in Williamsport.

Police say 40-year-old Christopher Crissman got into a fight with another man on Memorial Avenue on the night of January 21st.

Crissman eventually left the residence. But police say he returned a short time later and threw a lit Molotov cocktail through a living room window.

Williamsport Police Captain Raymond Kontz explained, “There were three people in the house when this occurred. He knew there were people in there and he still took a substantial step to cause injury or fire. He threw it in through the front window. It was just luck that it didn’t break when it hit inside.”

Police say Crissman was identified by the victim.

Crissman’s accomplice, 31-year-old Damien Lykens, of State College, was also charged with arson and conspiracy.

Both are locked up at the Lycoming County Prison.
