SUNBURY, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY- Money is missing in Northumberland County. Now a criminal investigation is underway to find out what happened to it.

County commissioners say a significant amount of taxpayer money has been stolen. They are determined to find out where it went and who took it.

County leaders are putting together their 2009 spending plan. They say they've facing at least a 3-million dollar shortfall.

That's why they've restricted use on county vehicles and are clamping down on county workers that don't put in a full 8-hour day.
