WEST PITTSTON , LUZERNE COUNTY- A woman is under investigation for money stolen from a support group that helps soldiers' families. The Luzerne County DA tells us that thousands of dollars are missing. The group supports the 109th National Guard unit in West Pittston . The money was donated or raised through special events. Authorities are withholding the name the woman for now, but we do know she's not serving in the military.
