This dinner started in 2000 by workers at the Endless Mountains Health System. They saw a need after a number of seniors didn't get to see family on Christmas.

Charles Cesaretti, Rector of the Saint Paul 's Episcopal Church says, “When this facility was put up, a good number of seniors living here had families who moved away, so it meant they were alone Christmas day."

Everyone was served a traditional turkey and ham dinner, but for dessert there was a 30-pound chocolate Santa.
