MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Hundreds of Lackawanna County employees will soon be out of a job.
'JC Penney' Corporate officials have confirmed they will close down their call center in Moosic at the end of March.
The workers were informed of the decision Thursday morning.
A company official said 275 people who work at the center, mostly part time, will lose their jobs when they close the center on March 28th.
The company blames a decline in catalog orders as more and more people turn to the internet to shop.
