LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A fire broke out at 123 W. Parker St. just off Main St. in N. Scranton Wednesday afternoon.

Initial reports indicated someone could be trapped in the burning 2 story apartment house, but everyone was able to get out ok.

A mother and her children were among the people who escaped the burning building.

Seven people in all lived there.

There's no word on the cause of the fire.
