A Columbia County woman accused of abandoning her newborn daughter waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon. She faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
Police arrested 23-year-old Jennifer Killian on Thanksgiving morning. She's accused of putting the baby in a trash bag and putting it alongside her family's home November 22nd. The temperature that morning was in the teens. The baby's grandfather discovered the baby just in a nick of time.

Investigators say Killian hid the pregnancy because she's separated from her husband. She's been in jail on 1-million dollars bail since her arrest. But the judge granted a defense motion to lower her bail to $25,000.
